July 11, 2014 - Cat Adoption at the Animal Control and Pet Adoption Center in Auburn Hills
Pre-Owned Cat Adoption at the Animal Control and Pet Adoption Center in Auburn Hills
We want you to go there right away and adopt a friend and family member; the Center is located at 1700 Brown Road, Auburn Hills, MI 48326. Some of you will know this location as the Oakland County 'dog pound.’ For more information, call 248-391-4100.
This is a great, humane event where the Animal Control and Pet Adoption Center was letting people adopt cats at no charge. This really helped make it affordable for lots of interested people who were wanting a new family member. We were happy that lots of cats were being adopted after screening and Q&A of the adopters. We were moved by all the beautiful cats and hoping for homes for all of them, especially the full-grown ones that often have a harder time being adopted than kittens. We had a few favorites, the miniature adult cat Flamingo comes to mind, along with a really playful gray-striped kitten. A beautiful full-grown black cat reminded us of one of our own. All of these beautiful animals are documented in our photographs; please go have a look.

This is also a good place to start looking should your animal go missing. Here is more information on how to find your lost pet http://www.oakgov.com/petadoption/Pages/find-pet.aspx
