May 25-28, 2012 - St. Mary's Polish Country Fair

This year, St. Mary’s Polish Country Fair will be held Memorial Weekend 2013, Friday, May 24 through Monday, May 27 at the Orchard Lake St. Mary's Campus, 3535 Indian Trail, Orchard Lake, MI 48324. Last May was the first time Detroit Metro Mashup personnel attended this annual event that has been ongoing for about 40 years. It was super-colorful, making for some really good photos that you can find by clicking on the photostack above. An amazing number of people attend this festival, estimated by St. Mary’s at 110,000 who stroll the 40-acres enjoying the carnival’s midway rides, bands, dancing, food and music. The carnival is huge, with an 80-foot high roller coaster heading the bill and, if that is too much airspace for you, there are raffles, a Vegas tent, no-limit Texas Hold’em, Bingo, a Kid’s Area, and shopping, to name a few other entertaining distractions. We hope you decide to attend and have a good time, like we did last year and plan to do this year!
